I'm considering going over to O2 broadband, doing bit of quidcoing and using a cashback mobile phone sites to get O2 mobile contract. Bit complicated but probably worth the effort.

The only potential fly in the ointment is the reconnection fee from BT should I leave and need to return. Does anybody know how much this is?

Personally your better of sticking with bt and just go for the paperless billing as then sky line rental only works out 50p a month cheaper if memory serves me correct.

The only reasons I didn't do it was because I didn't want to fully commit everything to sky and I was concerned at how good sky would be at getting my line fixed if it broke.

Yep I'll stick with BT line i think.

Will investigate o2 mobile cashback, thinking od getting new mobile contract anyway, leading to broadband cashback scenario etc.
  • Hi. I don't seem to be able to find a package that includes mobile phones with a tv, landline and broadband package. I can find only the last three items. Are there any packages with the four items included? Thanks for any advice

Sky Talk Freetime at no monthly fee, anybody on this. I am considering whether I should take it but still want to continue with bt line and 18185. Is this possible? Thanks
I opted for SkyTalk unlimited when we signed up to Sky plus and got the first three months free and then we'll pay £5.00 per month. I opted to keep my BT line. Checked my 1st phone bill on line and I've already made a big saving and that's despite paying BT for the line rental. I was a little dubious about switching from BT (very boring and traditional) but I'm so pleased I threw caution to the wind. Going on my experience I would happily recommend SKYTALK.
