The Board Guide List - who is the board guide on which forum is showing the BG's names but not the forums that they guide on.

    Board Guide List
Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Board guides are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an inappropriate or illegal post then please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com. It is not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. Any views are mine and are not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.

sorry to have to report this, Webby, but it's definitely getting worse - the 'hanging' on loading the pages is now taking more than 30 secs to load a page and then a few more seconds after that to complete the formatting :(
  • Beginning to be a bit of a delay using Firefox now too icon11.gif

Can I just say thank you though to whoever changed the red bar to an orange bar, the red one was making me see....red icon7.gif

I used FireFox after a while I went back to IE and have had no problems at all
it could be how FF caches pages but then again a lot of problems can be
down to user preferences and what other rubbish they may have unwittingly put on there own PCs I just think there are so may variables to pinpoint anyone "slowness" problem, unless 2 identical set up PCs one on FF and one on IE are used plus with all
other browsers this kind of experimement would then become useful.

    I'm really getting hanging now.
Especially when clicking 'submit' for a reply - which is most annoying since you can't retry without risking loosing a post you might have spent a while composing

That can be frustrating! I'd recommend copying the text of your post before submitting, just while we're having problems. I often do that anyway, if it's a long one.

When you click back it takes you to the page with the reply box either greyed out or with the text not editable

Usually, you can click 'Preview Post' and you can get your text back.
    But not always.

I've not been getting any of the problems everyone else has been mentioning but now it's really bad (using Firefox)
