Sorry, don't have time to look and see if this has been reported yet, but I'm using mozilla firefox, bb connection, and it was OK to begin with but as of about 20 minutes ago I found that the display went funny. I'm getting a big patch of blank screen at the top of each screen, and I need to click on the bar at the bottom to move along to the right (sorry I don't speak techie but I hope that makes sense!) to see the right hand end of each post. The latter sometimes used to happen on the old servers but not regularly.

When this started loading also became quite slow. And when I did click on the new page (I often load several at once) it was hard to know it had loaded because of the expanse of white at the top of the screen!

Thanks for all your hard work keeping us chatting - I had to do cold turkey the other night because I hadn't realised the site was going down!

We are on the same techie level so I know what you mean;)

I'm having the same problems as Savvy_Sue and am also using firefox and broadband.
  • Thanks folks, the reports are all being logged so keep them coming in. We're trying hard to get the speed and stability up and we're also looking into the individual problems.

    We appreciate your help.

Have come back on and had no problems this session. But it didn't start immediately last time so not sure if it is 'fixed' or an intermittent bug (the worst kind, I know!)

If you retreat from a forum with IE back button you end up with a the notice saying this forum is closed until 6pm that was used last night

This is not advice - hopefully it's common sense..
