sorry, I got it wrong initially but that’s what I was told.
I am in SE by the way.
I reckon mine may go the same way if that’s the case!1 -

just need to keep fingers crossed and they don’t withdraw my offer like previous poster!0 -
I get 'concerned' when I read things like... "now been told by Flogas that there are NO delivery charges if you are IN a 24 month contract with them".
That's good, but somewhat different to their published T&C's, that state... "Delivery charges may apply to all orders including orders automatically made under Auto Ordering, in accordance with the delivery rates applicable at the time of order. We will notify you in advance of delivery charges applicable to any orders made by you and any increase to these charges (provided always that such increases shall in any event be no greater than 50% of the last Delivery Charge charged to you)."Personally, if I'm told there's no delivery charges, I'd try to insist on a contract clause / addendum explicitly stating NO delivery charges for the 2 yr contract duration, whether it's Flogas or anyone else - after all, that's no more than their email apparently offers.0 -

Update - I have now signed my new 2 year contract with Flogas at 51ppl and 21.9 p per day standing charge.
I will keep hold of the e-mail I received from Flogas regarding no delivery charges whilst in contract and keep my fingers crossed. I have been with Flogas for 4 years and never paid for delivery and had one recently, so have no reason to think this will not be the case going forward. If they do, hopefully I will have the ammunition to renege on the contract.
My ppl has risen by 13 ppl which i am happy with in the current climate and probably adds about £20 per month to my direct debit to Flogas (I use approx 2,800 litres pa). weirdly, my standing charge is slightly lower than I was paying. Strange !!!1 -
Good luck!
You seem to have got a pretty good price in the current climate.
Have Flogas put any weasel words in the contract that allows them to raise prices in "exceptional circumstances", or "matters beyond our control"?0 -
LPG Save have put in that these 'Special Terms' agreed through them supercede the t&c's of paragraph 8.3 and 8.4 (which detail potential price increases during contract of up to 20 ppl). So, in effect this means my price can't increase during the 2 years as 8.3 and 8.4 will not apply. The contract does mention a potential increase of up to 50% to the standing charge (not the end of the world about £30pa).
This is all from the Consumer Bulk LPG T&C's 4-page leaflet V10 08/22
If I get anything further I will update again.0 -

Yes, please keep us updated of any changes.0 -
Just an update, the offer I got of 56ppl in year 1, max 5ppl increase in year 2 was reinstated with a deadline to sign up before 1 December (tomorrow) and a nudge that it's recommended customers sign up now if eligible as "the market outlook is now looking ver poor particularly from Feb onwards" which is a bit worrying.
That offer is nowhere near as good as Kassy64 who seems to have secured a competitive 2 year fixed ppl.
I'm in a quandary, my existing contract runs out on 18 Jan (at 33ppl), I can't get quotes from anyone else until I'm within 30 days of my contract end date. I've still got 69% in the tank, desperate to get one last fill up at 33ppl before 18 Jan but looking unlikely as I imagine they'll refuse to fill up if tank reads over 50%. Even in the depths of winter I only use a max of about 5 percentage points a week. And if I sign a new contract at 56ppl they've got no incentive to fill me up at my current rate.
Out of interest I got a fresh quote for connection to mains gas as it's come a bit nearer to us with some new houses built... it'd now be £12,500. Still too much for us unfortunately0
