Bulk LPG - Cheapest suppliers / supply route?

Could be worth trying to get a fix for the two years.
What does the contract say about price rises?

Had a quote from LPG-Save (Flogas) for 48ppl, fixed for two years. I don't see that as being bad, as my current supplier increased from the fixed of 35ppl to around 80ppl (due to me not reading a clause in the contract properly).
I'll make sure I read the contract properly this time, but has anyone had any experience of points that Flogas may try to sneak in there?
Thanks0 -

Hi all,
we've just moved into a house with LPG (bulk tank) and are trying to sort out a contract (previous owner died so assuming their contract died with them). The vendor put 700l in just before we moved in, but the gauge has broken so no idea how much we actually have in there.
Trying to get quotes out of Calor, Avanti, Flogas and another local one is like pulling teeth. Have requested LPG-Save try to find some quotes.
Current supplier (tank owner) is Northern Energy who have quoted 50ppl (plus the yearly fee) but the ppl is variable, no fixed rate on a 2 year contract. According to the rep, no one is doing fixed rate deals atm. Does that sound correct?
Thanks for any and all advice!0 -

Moved into house in stix with LPG bulk gas tank. Use wood for the fires from the trees lots of them around here so not had to refill the gas tank yet, just use for showers and hot tap water. Looking at needing some gas at some point, been here for eight months and tanks says 20% still in it. Been paying Calor for tank rent £18 a quarter as previous people bough off them, but no contract signed with them yet. Tried Flo and Calor prices quite high two year contract too. Tried a local company Carver Gas, they gave this quote. Is it as good as one can expect by going with a local supplier? Many thanks for any advice
Minimum 750 litre delivery that is for free within 40 miles of Carver Gas.
55p per litre
28 day contract
£60 rental yearly for gas tank, two weeks to set up taking over it from Calor0 -

Basically, they're not telling the truth when they're saying there's no fixed deals around.0 -

For anybody wishing to know what best deals are at moment. I have just been offered to re-contract with Flogas at 51 ppl plus 21.9 pence per day standing charge fixed for 24 months. I'm fairly happy with that price (coming from current price of 38 ppl) bearing in mind what's going on in the world and energy prices etc.
They matched a price I had from Avanti (with higher daily rate), so came down from my initial quote.
All in all happy to be on a reasonable price for the next 2 years.
This is in the SE of England.
ps - from my initial enquiries the above contract is fixed for 2 years, all my previous contracts with Flogas have had a 2nd year clause where price can rise by 2 ppl max.
I wonder if they know something about the market, we don't going forward. But strange they haven't put it in just in case.0 -
