For anybody wishing to know what best deals are at moment. I have just been offered to re-contract with Flogas at 51 ppl plus 21.9 pence per day standing charge fixed for 24 months. I'm fairly happy with that price (coming from current price of 38 ppl) bearing in mind what's going on in the world and energy prices etc.
They matched a price I had from Avanti (with higher daily rate), so came down from my initial quote.
All in all happy to be on a reasonable price for the next 2 years.
This is in the SE of England.
ps - from my initial enquiries the above contract is fixed for 2 years, all my previous contracts with Flogas have had a 2nd year clause where price can rise by 2 ppl max.
I wonder if they know something about the market, we don't going forward. But strange they haven't put it in just in case.
Do Flogas issue customer specific contracts, with 'fixed' fixed prices ?  It just seems somewhat contrary to their standard consumer bulk lpg supply T&C's (on their website), that allow for up to +20ppl increase per 12 months period, and indeed to my own bulk lpg experiences in the past 20 years (albeit not specifically with Flogas).

I have just had a 1000 litre fill from my local independent at 53ppl.  It was 38ppl in March!  I'm part of our local village buying group.  I am not in contract, so do not pay any tank charges.

It may have gone up considerably (now 8p/kWh), but still a lot cheaper than mains gas!

Update on this quote LPGSave failed to mention delivery charges when I checked before signing. They said yes there are at £75 per delivery (so about £300 pa for me). Not acceptable to me as this adds on the equivalent of 11 pence per litre approx. So, I’ve backed out of that deal and will wait to see what prices are when my contract with Flogas expires in January. Just goes to show you have to check everything.
Interestingly I’ve been with Flogas for 4 years and never had to pay delivery charge before. Also, the delivery charge is variable so could go higher. Very naughty indeed.

Where does it mention the £75 delivery charge on the paperwork Kassy? I can't see anything on mine. Do you live somewhere very remote by any chance?

The quote I got on 15 November has been rescinded (via LPG Save to recontract with Flogas for 56ppl fixed in year 1 then capped at no more than 61ppl in year 2, standing charge 21.9p per day).

Got this in an email yesterday which I don't mind admitting was unsettling...

"Due to the increased volatility within the wholesale LPG market, we are sorry to advise that we will no longer be able to honour the offer made. This is quite an unusual situation in so much that we are usually able to hold offers for 14 days but as we head into what looks to be a very difficult period for both gas and power generation, we are now in very different times"

I've literally just had the same thing happen which is annoying as the quote specifically stated " do not sign an Agreement where the price you pay becomes completely Variable, Subject to Market Conditions or that protects you against increases in Operational Costs only" They completely failed to tell me about delivery charges!  Luckily, I have managed to get out of the agreement under the 14 day cooling off period. We're mot classed as remote either.

Update - now been told by Flogas that there are NO delivery charges if you are IN a 24 month contract with them. This was direct from their customer service team. So, it was LPG Save that were mis informed. If this is the case I will take this contract.
sorry, I got it wrong initially but that’s what I was told.

Let us know how you get on, as mentioned earlier they've rescinded an offer that was sent to me on 15 Nov which was less favourable than your offer
