Bulk LPG - Cheapest suppliers / supply route?

Got the same offer, managed to get them to reduce the 2 year fix to 44p. Calor (my current supplier) told me that there is no change to my price (46ppl) but I may receive something shortly (contract expires in 2 weeks) notifying of price increases and if I get something to then get in touch. What a strange way of doing business. Transfer request submitted!

Summary of prices offered for NE Scotland on annual consumption of approx. 8000 ltrs

LPG Save - 44p fixed for 2 years + 21ppd standing charge (Flogas of course is the supplier)
Calor - Nothing
Gleaner Oil - 71.85 ppl variable
JGas - 48ppl fixed for 1 year, maximum increase 7.5ppl year 2
Flogas Direct - 45ppl on a 1 year fix or 48ppl on a two year fix.

It is absurd that Flogas is able to provide cheaper prices through a broker than direct.

it may be incomprehensible to you, but that is different to absurd. I find the current electricity market absurd, it is so far from a free market.

one example: "lpg save gives us 100,000 litres pa so we will sell gas to them at 35p/l. And they take a turn. You don't - so we will offer you a price that on average, you will accept. Or you can find a better offer .

Unlike electricity or mains gas or water, lpg is still a free market. accept that and you will do well. But i understand that nowadays, many don't get it.
