war pension - government review?
Hi everyone. Like most people on benefit I'm concerned about how the government are going to be reviewing everyone. And whilst people often say, "If you're genuine you have no need to worry". I'm afraid I don't believe this for a second and I'm getting very stressed about it all - mainly because I totally lost all faith in…

Suspending BT line whilst on det
Hey When I was on R&R, it occurred to me that I should have got my phone line suspended for the duration of my det. Called up BT and the first guy I spoke to said, no, we don't do that, you'd have to cancel and you're still under contract, etc, etc. After a short while, he then did say, oh I can transfer you to our…

General forces discounts summary
Thought I would do a small July 2010 summary. My boyfriend uses a website for his discounts (well I do while he's away), they have loads of discounts and you can only get in if you are in the forces. You obviously need to prove you are in the forces, but its well worth it. If you look there are a good few out there.…
