Money Moral Dilemma: Should I go back and pay for my train ticket?
This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... When catching a train there was no time for me to buy a ticket. The lady at the station said not to worry, I could buy one at my destination. However, when I arrived, the ticket office was closed, so I left without paying. Unfortunately the MSE team can't always answer money…

Money Moral Dilemma: What's the fairest way to split our taxi fare?
This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... I often share a taxi home with my friend after we've been out. It's normally £13 direct to my house, and £16 to his house - but when we share, it's £18 in total. How should we split it? Unfortunately the MSE team can't always answer money moral dilemma questions as…

I am planning a trip to London from the South West in August travelling by train on GWR. Worst commute on Northern Trains?
Watched the "HS2: The Great Train Robbery" and it highlighted how bad the Northerns train are around Manchester area. Nectar points for Virgin trains
A while ago I mistakenly redeemed Nectar points for Virgin trains, not noticing that I could then only get East Coast Virgin (now LNER, I know). They expire in May but I have no likelihood of ever using them on that route. Do you know if they are transferable to someone else to use? Seems a shame to let them go to waste.
