Delay Repay

I've just found two un-presented Delay Repay cheques (2 x £13) which are over 18 months old! :o

Before I contact the TOC admitting unbelievable stupidity, should I have any problems getting them re-issued? I'm assuming liability for the payment lasts for six years but that there will be a fee to re-issue:(.

Doubly embarrassing as I spent most of last week moaning at my wife for not paying in several old dividend cheques! (These have now been re-issued at £12 each).

I'd bank them and see what happens.

Tried that. Bank won't accept over six months.

I had to persevere with them to accept one of the (in-date) dividend cheques which could be presented up to 12 months (it was just within the 12 months).

For the future can't you have both dividend cheques and delay repay cheques paid directly into your account. That is what happens with both for me and resolves the problem of one going down the side of the sofa.

I know!!! I've already forced my (equally) forgetful wife to get her dividends transferred direct into her account. :o
