Train Chichester-Bristol Temple Meads

Hi,

I have a job interview in Bristol next Weds 19th June at 11am, and can come back mid pm the same day.

Train comes in at £49.00 on two single fares,

Can anyone else do any better?

It might be worth paying a couple of pounds more so that you get a flexible ticket.

Assuming you don't depart Paddington before 0835, I don't think you'll do any better than the Off Peak Return (SVR), priced at £98.50


Whether that leaves enough time or not depends on how close the venue is to Temple Meads station...

Might save a few pounds by splitting tickets at Southampton, assuming your direct fare is £49 return (2 x single).

It looks like you may have an early start. Day returns changing at Fareham 06.27 arriving 09.51, 59.50 Pounds or 07.51 arriving 1049, 51.70 Pounds. The second one would be cutting it very fine even if you're going to somewhere just a few minutes from Temple Meads. This is from GWR's web site.
