Help with comments in response to POPLA evidence
Hi, Sorry I am new to the forum but have read certain posts to get to where I am now. Long story short, UKPC issued fine for overstaying their 3 hour limit for the shopping park. Extenuating circumstance of a car breakdown (flat tyre) prevented me from leaving the car park within this limit. Emailed the management of the…

Plan A Success!
My wife had a recent PCN from UKPA at Almondvale West in Livingston (Scotland). A notorious retail park with one car park split in half, one part pay and display and the other part is ANPR and ticket machines/app. In her case, the nearest pay machine wasn't working and the next one she went to was for the wrong half of the…

Parking eye - Broken down car that I have since sold
Hi All, I have today (19/02/2026) received a PCN for £100 (or £60 if paid now) from ParkingEye issued 16/02/2026, for an event that took place on 12/02/2026. I parked in a ASDA carpark in Bolton to buy some lunch, and when I came to leave my car battery was flat. I called a local "man with a van" that I found on facebook…

Lancaster Park Virtual Permit
Good evening, We received this one today. Ive not come across a virtual permit charge before. Its near Leeds/Bradford Airport. Lancaster Park next to Costa. I dont have an image of the miniscule warning signs yet. Would I treat this the same as the generic car park/airport rip off PCNs? Thankyou for reading.

Thank you / success
I just wanted to say thank you for all of the advice here. I have just come out of my claim hearing, and the judge dismissed UKPA / Moorside’s claim in about 15 minutes on ‘balance of probabilities’. Thanks for all your help, and I believe the phrase is ‘another one bites the dust!’.

Overstay fine - adding to appeal template?
A couple of weeks ago I spent the afternoon working from a Starbucks and received a Notice To Keeper for overstaying. I don't recall any signs laying out time limits, and can't see any on google maps. However I'm not local so I haven't been able to go back and check. The notice to keeper says what time I arrived and what…

Legal Letters following UKPC fine
Please help, I parked my car over the lines in a parking bay at Matalan. I ignored the UKPC PCN and asked Matalan if they could cancel it. They kept saying appeal. The appeal time had already passed and I have explained this to Matalan. I have received no response from Matalan. I am now receiving many letters from debt…

Any point appealing an "out of hours" stay for 17 minutes (ParkingEye)
I've used this forum in the past, it got me out of a couple of parking fines (Airport), however this time it is indeed sort of my fault and I wanted to make sure that I should just pay (can't even pay the minimum anymore, took a long time to get the fine so it's 3 weeks). Anyway, I had a flu jab and the medical centre's…

APCOA Penalty Notice - Bedford Station
I received a Penalty Notice from APCOA for parking at Bedford Station without buying a ticket. They've quoted the Railway Bylaws 14. The date of the parking was 10th Dec, so from what I've read on here this was before some rules regardign bylaws changed? I appealed it before I became aware of these resources. While I…

Fine from Excel Parking for "overstay" using ANPR in and out times (16 mins over 1 hour we paid for)
Hi all, My partner received an "invoice" by post from Excel of £60 for a 1hr 16 minute stay in their car park outside Iceland. I spoke to Iceland but they simply gave me the number for Excel. I've been reading up on the whole process and it sounds like Excel are quite litigious so may take this to court, even though I…
