Reclaim tax (rebate) from more than 4 years ago
In the 08/09 tax year, I’d been paying tax at my full time job up until November when I totally ceased earning (my husband is in the military and we were sent out of the country last minute). I believe I should have been due a tax rebate at the end of that tax year as I’d been paying tax/NI at a rate presuming that I’d…

Plevin
Following today's newsletter I've submitted a plevin claim using the resolver service. There are two bank accounts associated with the claim. However, where the form asked me for the final 4 digits of the account/card there was only space for me to write the last 4 digits of one account only. No space for the second…

Mortgage Arrears Fees - Is it possible to reclaim
I had a mortgage with Santander. During a particularly stressful period in my life I was charged a succession of late payment fees at £40 a time totalling around £700. Are these reclaimable in any way now that I no longer have a mortgage with them ? If they are what would be best course of action?

Reclaiming premiums for drain cover
Hopefully someone can help! We had insurance for our drains for a couple of years. We finally needed to use it for an emergency (drains completely blocked, waste all over the path and couldn't use sinks or toilets during half term!). We called on a Sunday and they said they'd get someone out to us that night - they…

Reclaiming of sorts....
Hi, This relates to the equal pay claim going on at Asda. Tesco staff are now bringing a similar claim. I was just wondering that if the people win who are bringing the claim against Asda, can we put in a claim to Asda ourselves rather then going through the union or solicitors?. I did my own PPI claim and and guessing…

Halifax Endowment Mortgage
Hi, I took out a Halfax endowment mortgage in the early 1980's. I found I had practically paid the mortgage but also found there was no shortfall. I was sold the mortgage via an agent who visited my house. Halifax say they have no records, yet due to finding myself in the position of not having a shortfall I was left to…

Nationwide Mortgage possible ppi claim
We took out a mortgage with nationwide in 1983 and it was paid off in 20 years. I had one of those companies phone me the other day that made me wonder if we may have had ppi on the mortgage. Hi, I have been reading through the threads and not found the answer to my query so I thought I would start a new thread. This…

Household Insurance on Mortgage
Hi! A bit of background. We took a out a fixed mortgage out 5 years ago (it's just finished). The market wasn't offering ANYTHING at the time for 5% apart from 2 miserable products (at least for us). The percentages as we are all aware back then were poor. They gave us the an option to reduce the percentage rate slightly…
