Council tax in rental properties

Hi i wonder if we can get any help.. we have rented a property in a cull de sac for 4yrs and it is a very posh area so we always accepted our council tax band was high!! But hearing about re-banding ive found out through neighbours that our bungelow is in fact a cheap built building put up into a space between houses for the owners parents before they went into care. All the other bungelows are 3 bedroom large areas, ours is a 2 bed small area bungelow so we are wondering how and can we arrange for a re branding !

You can ask for a band review from the Valuation Office Agency https://www.gov.uk/challenge-council-tax-band
but you must provide them with a good reason for wanting the band reduced, e.g. you know of bungalows of a similar age and size in the vicinity in a lower band than yours. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
