House to rent in Rathmore area of Bangor
I've seen a really lovely little semi-detached bungalow to rent in Rathmore Park, Bangor West. It's in fantastic order and well insulated so inexpensive to heat. Am very tempted but I don't know the area at all. Is anyone familiar with it? Would you recommend living there?

Sourcing Cloud 9 underlay locally
We're considering buying a carpet from Carpetright (on a fairly tight budget) but they stick the arm in when it comes to all the extras like underlay so we plan to keep costs down by sourcing everything else ourselves. I believe that Cloud 9 underlay is pretty good and much better value than the underlay that the big…

This is in Kitchener Drive/Frenchpark Street BT12 6AS "Village" area of south Belfast. Apparently the area is mixed now with people from outside the area moving in due to its location. Glazing - Betterhomes (NI) llp liquidated
I had glazing and doors put in by Betterhomes in 2014 and have since learned they have ceased trading. This is problematic as although I have a signed contract…

Oil to gas?
Hi Everyone I meet tells me the benefits of converting to gas heating. I have oil heating and heats my property well. What is the cost to switch? Are there any grants available? I would be interested in servicing costs and parts if needed? The main benefit I can see is you don’t have to pay for 500 litres upfront, like I…
