Hi guys, I’m new to using forums.
Ive just a question that I need help with.
Has anybody got any experience in getting a substitute from a solicitor?
I’m waiting on some money coming through from a solicitor but recently Ive lost my job and funds are a bit tight at the minute.
Somebody gave me the idea to ask for a ‘sub’ form the solicitor and the amount will be deducted from your claim.
Any advice welcome.
:money:
Thanks

I have never heard of this, but it sounds like it leaves you vulnerable to their terms.
What about family or close friends?0 -
Its a subvention, not a substitute. I would be certain that no solicitor would do this but no harm in asking. There was a time when if a claim was agreed and awaiting payment a bank would lend against a solicitor's undertaking but those days are gone, family or friends is your best bet.0

I have heard of people doing this and solicitors complying. I suppose it all depends on where the money you are waiting on is coming from. If it is sure fire guaranteed money I'm pretty sure the solicitor will give you a sub. But if its maybe a claim or something with 50/50 chance of winning then no chance of a sub.I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p0
