Santander 123 current account
The above account interest rate is going from 1.5% to 1% in May, yet the monthly fee is staying at £5, and the cashback is getting capped to £5 in each category. Are there any better alternatives out there?

Home energy/insulation grants
Are there any grants available towards replacement external doors? The Affordable Warmth Scheme covers cavity wall/loft insulation, boiler and window replacement but not doors, which defeats the purpose if the doors are draughty and uninsulated. Thanks in advance.

House to rent in Rathmore area of Bangor
I've seen a really lovely little semi-detached bungalow to rent in Rathmore Park, Bangor West. It's in fantastic order and well insulated so inexpensive to heat. Am very tempted but I don't know the area at all. Is anyone familiar with it? Would you recommend living there?

Sourcing Cloud 9 underlay locally
We're considering buying a carpet from Carpetright (on a fairly tight budget) but they stick the arm in when it comes to all the extras like underlay so we plan to keep costs down by sourcing everything else ourselves. I believe that Cloud 9 underlay is pretty good and much better value than the underlay that the big…

Hi there folks, Eventually I will have to do this get a replacement oil burner system or go for the gas. Just wondering of those of you that have installed a Grant oil boiler system for an average sized house fairly recently, what was the total cost excluding any grants? Gas is an option for me too, but probably don't want…

New Development -76 South Belfast
This is in Kitchener Drive/Frenchpark Street BT12 6AS "Village" area of south Belfast. Apparently the area is mixed now with people from outside the area moving in due to its location. Hi, just wondering if anyone has experienced the offerings? I believe we are restricted to EE & o2 ATM (Three as with 4G ignoring us, Vodafone may have us on the roadmap, but I can't recall).
