Good Periodontist or Dentist specialising please

Probably grasping at straws folks but would anyone here be able to personally recommend a good Periodontist or or failing that a top notch Dentist with experience in Periodontal Disease?

Struggling with the condition and my Dentist, who otherwise has been very good over the years, hasn't been of much assistance.

Is there a dental hospital locally (or University that teaches dentistry) you could ring and ask?
