It seems I have to replace a panel of the polycarbonate with a material that can support the flue. Any suggestions as to what I should use?…

Boiler Juice - very ineffective in the west country. Online quote from them with price range depending on delivery dates. On a like for like 5 days delivery they were 12p a litre dearer than my regular local supplier with no "urgent" delivery penalty if required. Therefore, doesnt always pay to shop around

solid fuel Rayburn.
Have found a property where heating and hot water come from a solid fuel Rayburn.. I assume this means coal/coke or similar and my initial reaction is not too keen on endlessly carry coal indoors to feed it and presumably cleaning it out too. Is this how it would work? In the 21st century? This seems to be a newly…

British Gas - Licence to print money
A couple of years ago I subscribed to the British Gas Homecare 200 for annual boiler servicing and repairs. Admittedly it was explained that there was a £99.00 excess charge applicable and I accept that this was set out in further detail in British Gas' Terms and Conditions. Admittedly, like many others I failed to give…

I have no keys/cards to leave them, so how will they be able to top up? Surely it'll take some time to set up a new account with…

Huge Bill from Scottish Power; can anyone advise?
My son today has had a shock; Scottish Power have tried to take £2.5k out of his account.
