Laundry for single people in tiny flats/bedsits
Hi all I live in a flat with a kitchen the size of a phone box, so no room for a washing machine. I got fed up with the hassle and expense of the launderette (and they don't seem to get your stuff clean anyway). I searched the net for a solution and came up with this, a washing machine designed for use on board boats.…

Disappearing Water
About 3 months ago I had a new bathroom suite fitted. All has been well up to now but in the past few days when I have put the water into the washbasin it has started to run away down the plughole (with the plug in)before I've been able to use it. What is the likely reason for this and the solution?

A quiet oven
We currently have a "built under" gas oven. It says "Stoves" on the front, but I reckon it was probably made by Boeing! Once it gets going it's really very noisy. It wasn't cheap either - it was their top model. Does anyone know whether there's a built under double oven (either gas or electric - we can cope with both), but…

Sludge
My central heating system repeatedly fills up with sludge every few years. British Gas who maintain the system last flushed it out but the cost is very high. Anyone know a way of minimising this happening and any suggestions of Companies who can carry out this task for a more reasonable cost, based in Greater London.
