Direct Line Response?

I was thinking about taking out the Direct Line response cover in case anything should happen to my heating, plumbing, electrics etc

Does anyone have any experience of this? Is it any good?

Although I haven't used this one before, it's fairly typical of insurance companies with this sort of scheme to have a lot of small print (to worm out of claims) and to use sub contractors.

My experince of leaving British Gas wasn't a good one. You may have to pay extra for their (BG's) central heating, plumbing and electrical cover but they are better to deal with and reliable.

I WOULD SERIOUSLY NOT GO WITH DIRECT LINE EVER AGAIN . I WAS WITH THEM FOR EVERYTHING CAR , LIFE , HOUSE THE LOT CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY EXPERIENCE IS REALLY BAD THEY TRIED TO PUT ME ON HOLD ONCE AND DIDNT PRESS THE BUTTON PROPERLY SO I COULD HERE WHAT THEY WERE SAYING THEY WERE CALLING ME VERY ABUSIVE SWEAR WORDS SO I GAVE THEM WHAT FOR WHEN THEY COME BACK ON AND THEY SENT ME A CHEQUE TO SAY SORRY . BUT ANYWAY THE INSURANCE I THINK IS A GOOD IDEA BUT I WOULD TAKE IT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE . ::)
