I am looking to buy a laser level. As it is for DIY and won't be used daily I don't want to spend more than £50 - £60. Can anyone recomend one?

I saw one in woolworth a few days ago, it was about 6 inches long and came with a small tripod. I only had a quick look but I think it was metal.
Anyway, it's only £10.0 -
Depends what length level you want really? Screwfix do a short one with a removeable tripod for £29.99:
