600mm is right, this is the standard width for most appliances. However you can buy compact dishwashers which are 450mm if you are pushed for space, I think these are the 9 placeholder type (i.e how many people you can wash up for) as opposed to the normal 12 places.

We got ours from Comet, if you look on the website they generally have a few 'web-only' special deals, plus you can get free delivery on a lot of stuff, they charge £15 if you order in store (cheek!).

We saved about £65 by ordering ours from the website - £50 less on the web plus free delivery.

Best thing to do is pull up all the models then check reviews on a site such as epinions or ciao. Then get the best out of the lot at the price you want - obviously checking to see if they are cheaper anywhere else first.

p.s. if you are talking about a truly integrated appliance, i.e. covered by a kitchen cabinet door, then you need to buy a special integrated dishwasher which will cost more money. Then you will need a new cabinet door to cover it. If you have already had a freestanding one at one point then you would be better sticking to another one.
