Vitamin D3 - which to buy?
Does anyone know please whether it makes any difference which brand or form (tablet / capsule / drops / chewy) you buy your vitamin D3 in? Looking for 1000 IU dosage and am bewildered by the range from very cheap to eye-wateringly expensive

£7 Flu jab in Asda
If you don't qualify for a free flu jab on the NHS, Asda are one of (if not the) cheapest places at £7. If you've ever had flu, and I don't mean a heavy cold, you probably want to protect yourself from getting it again.

Lashes!
Hey money saving ladies, Just wondering if anyone had a good alternative to fake lashes? I couldn't justify £25 every 2/3 weeks for infills, but I love the look, what do you ladies do?

No NHS for Failed Root Canal Molar
Hi everyone I have been having some issues with my teeth and to cut a long story short, it appears to be an old root canal in a molar close to the front which has become infected. The NHS dentist has said either it can be taken out on the NHS or I would have to go private for it fixing if I wanted to keep it which would…

Blood Pressure/Pulse Phobia
Hi, Due to a freak panic attack during a colonoscopy and the knock on effect, I developed a massive phobia of having my pulse and BP measured. This isn’t just ‘White Coat Syndrome’, as it’s the fear of the test that causes it, not the fact I’m at the docs etc. I’ve previously had health anxiety issues that mainly rooted in…

ibuprofen shortage
Apparently Boots and major supermarkets are struggling to stock them at the moment due to 'supply issues'? Could also be that people are panic buying because of Brexit and it's caused a shortage :(

I am a guy and very hairy, I tend to shave my elbows and top of arms, even with shaving gel it gets red spots and itches I deal with it but can be very itchy sometimes. Are asthma check ups avoidable?
I do care about my health but the problem is that each asthma check up is generic, the nurses pretty much ask me the same questions and i blow in to a peak flow meter (which i own and use every week). I feel as though i can manage the asthma myself and if it does get worse then i can make an appointment. I can also buy my…

Infected tooth wouldn't numb
Seen a few posts with similar experiences where their tooth wouldn't numb with local anesthetic. I had 3 cartridges and everything but the tooth that needed to be numb was numb (painful when I pressed the top and not just pressure). Plan was to extract the tooth, but in the end I gave up. After what must have been 15…
