Enamel-safe whitening?

Options
My teeth have become quite yellow due to drinking tea during my adult life, and as a child my dentist told me I had 'weak enamel' so I've been very wary of trying anything. I was wondering if any of the pros on here could tell me whether there are any whitening methods that are truly safe for enamel, please?

[Whitening toothpaste hasn't made any discernible difference, though sensitivity is my main concern so I now just stick with whichever version of Sensodyne is on offer, and my gums are happier with it too. I'm also not willing to give up drinking tea, to be quite honest!]

No toothpaste , kit, mouthwash you can buy over the counter will whiten teeth . Most are either abrasive so they wear away stain and enamel making teeth even more sensitive but won't whiten teeth , or are acidic so will eat away at enamel as well as stain but again won't whiten.

Talk to your dentist to see if professional whitening is suitable for you.

However if it is just tea staining that's the problem a visit to the hygienist will get rid of that. However if your teeth are generally yellow then only professional whitening will sort that out.
