Am going in for an eye test tomorrow and am sure that they're going to tweek my prescription. Bought a new pair of frames last week with display lenses. Will be looking to have my current year old frames re-glazed. Have been told that that might be an issue?

Question 1 it better to go into a Specsavers and get it all done in one hit ie eye test and reglaze OR take the prescription elsewhere?

My usual optician has very few convenient eye test appointments at the moment and takes a while to get the lenses done but is top notch. Also doesn't want to take a Specsavers prescription in case there are any issues.

Question 2. Are Specsavers any good?

Specsavers are franchises so are only as good as the particular franchise operators' staff are.

I won't use our local franchise as they got my script wrong and told me I preferred that script when things in the distance were out of focus.

My previous franchise in Easternmost England was excellent.
