Does anyone else wonder about the pesticides and stuff in vegetables or is it just me?
Am not sure where to post this so apologies. A few months ago I decided to take the step to veganism more for health reasons than anything really. As part of this journey I now have an allotment to grow some of the veg I eat and I had never really given a thought before it was mentioned to me concerning the number of…

Dolly's Getting to Goal Weight and Staying There Diary
So I've always been a person who has struggled with my weight. A yo-yo dieter you would call me who has tried every plan and nothing has ever worked - my fault cos I just wasn't really in the 'zone' as they say and was kidding myself on if I'm being honest. I started Exante which is a meal replacement plan which I know a…

Part-dentures feel a bit weird
Hi all I've got a set of part-dentures on the bottom right of my mouth. The only thing, the plastic bit that covers the gums (the inside gum), it just doesn't feel right. It's as if a huge part is sticking out everytime the tongue goes to that side of the mouth. I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to that. Has anyone else…

Quality of Spectacle Lenses?
Just had an eye test yesterday as I've felt my vision hasn't been great lately. However, my prescription has barely changed - making me wonder: Do the lenses used by different companies vary in the quality of the image I'm seeing? My last few sets came from glasses direct, they're so cheap its almost unbelievable. But it…

How to avoid Vision Express rip off? Also cheaper glasses?
My boyfriend is blind in one eye and receives subscription lenses from Vision Express. He hasn't been wearing them due to lockdown so he has loads stockpiled by his bed. I have nagged him continously to cancel this direct debit - only yesterday I found out he pays £21.60 a month, so 3x30 boxes 90 lenses every 3 months.…
