Health Insurance
Hi there I have power of attorney for my ex husband. He has has private health insurance since 2013 and one of the policy stipulations is that treatment of a medical condition which he had before date the insurance started is not covered. Bags removals cost, could it be done on the NHS
I have quite large bags under my eyes just like my dads its a trait in his family. I have worked long hours years ago 16 hours shifts for days on end 12 days on and a few off and 12 hour days and I do enjoy a bottle of wine or two. My husband says its the drink. Anyway, I wear fake eyesight glasses when out and sun glasses…

£6 specs
How can they do spectacles with add-ons for £6? Where are they made? Are they using sweat shop labour? I need new glasses and want to cut costs, but not if it is morally questionable.

SDI Poladay teeth whitening
Hello hello to all. Poladay teeth whitening gel is much cheaper online than direct from dentists. My dentist has instructed me to not trust any online sellers! But has anyone found a reputable seller other than their dentist?

Changing dentist to maintain implants?
Does anyone know if it’s possible to change dentists to maintain implants? I’ve got an All on Four implant retained bridge with which I’ve had so many niggling problems. My dentist seems oblivious to the fact that I seem to be there every couple of months with a new problem, fillings falling out, teeth breaking after a…

2nd root canal or pull the tooth...
15 years ago I had a root canal and a crown on my tooth, second to the back at the top of my mouth. Recently it got a bit infecty so they x-rayed it and said basically it's going to need treating, either on the NHS where they will just pull it out, or referral to a private specialist (£60) who may be able to do a 2nd root…

What are wards like after surgery?
I know this may differ from each hospital during covid era. I am due to have an operation and was wondering if wards for those recovering from surgery are any different to pre coronavirus times? I've been told I will go to a 'clean ward'. Is this any 'cleaner' than before covid era? I was thinking of having a private room…

Does anyone else wonder about the pesticides and stuff in vegetables or is it just me?
Am not sure where to post this so apologies. A few months ago I decided to take the step to veganism more for health reasons than anything really. As part of this journey I now have an allotment to grow some of the veg I eat and I had never really given a thought before it was mentioned to me concerning the number of…

Dolly's Getting to Goal Weight and Staying There Diary
So I've always been a person who has struggled with my weight. A yo-yo dieter you would call me who has tried every plan and nothing has ever worked - my fault cos I just wasn't really in the 'zone' as they say and was kidding myself on if I'm being honest. I started Exante which is a meal replacement plan which I know a…

Part-dentures feel a bit weird
Hi all I've got a set of part-dentures on the bottom right of my mouth. The only thing, the plastic bit that covers the gums (the inside gum), it just doesn't feel right. It's as if a huge part is sticking out everytime the tongue goes to that side of the mouth. I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to that. Has anyone else…

I enjoy walking each day for exercise but I've never used a step counter, does keeping your steps to a certain level each aid weight loss, i hear a lot about 10,000 steps being some kind of benchmark.
