Is there any difference between contact lens solution as mine seems pricey?!

I have started to wear monthly contact lenses, varifocal ones.  The opticians, Specsavers,  gave me Easyvision easy purpose /multi purpose solution last time I got the cleaning solution off them...but before that I had a different one.  Both of them were on a trial (not sure why I got 2).  Now I have to pay for the lenses and solution...there is a monthly plan I can go on or I can pay for 3 months of lenses and cleaning solution separately.  I have opted for the latter one first and paid outright as I am not sure still about the lenses and wearing them...they irritate my eye after 10 hours of wear.  I am now running out of solution...but it seems very expensive.  Are all cleaning solutions equal?

If you want an all-purpose cleaning and soaking solution then I've found Home Bargains to be the cheapest - from memory it's £1.99 for a 360ml bottle. Optivive brand. The manufacturer and ingredients are exactly the same as many of the more expensive brands.  I've been wearing lenses in one form or another for nearly 50 years now and since switching to fortnightly varifocals, I've always used the cheaper solutions.  I'd also recommend buying the lenses online
