Tesco putting up prices of some goods by over 50%
As someone who is allergic to caffeine. I found tesco caffeine free diet cola at only 57p a great find. However I have gone into my local store today to find they have added the word classic to the label and its gone up to 89p surely the word classic and a lable change isnt worth 32p or 50% more.

Regina Impressions 16 roll 3 ply £4.00 at Wilko
I noticed on the Wilko website that the Regina is on offer again. When I went in store today, it's still priced up at £6.15, but does go through the till at £4.00. As I've just exhausted my stock bought last time it was on offer, this is perfect timing for me so I thought I'd let all you other Regina fans know :) HTH

Poor quality fresh food from Aldi
I started shopping at Aldi just before Christmas (new store opened) and I have been bitterly disappointed with their fresh food. Things like pre packed tomatoes and strawberries being mouldy when opened, fresh food not lasting more than 2 or 3 days before being unuseable and no sell by or use by dates on any of the…

M.I.A Bisto powder
Am I the only one who still uses old fashioned Bisto powder? I can't find it in my local Tesco or Asda. If anyone knows where to get it from please help, I refuse to use instant granules. It seems like cheating, whereas Bisto powder is only half cheating as you still need to stir it :)

Clarks Honey 710g - £2 in Morrisons
I usually buy 340g value honey at 99p at Morrisons/Tesco for my green tea. Seen this Clarks stuff is reduced to clear. Works out just a wee bit cheaper at £2 for 710g. Might only be by store basis, but worth checking oooout! I bought a couple of bottles! :P

Suggestions on how to save on regularly bought items
Hi I usually buy my groceries in Sainsburys, or Iceland, and have just been buying regular size items. Until recently I have always bought Lenor at the best price in the supermarket, then I saw that The Original Factory Shop and BM Homestores sell a 5 litre pack at £6, this is much better value so I stock up there now.…

Ground Black Pepper and Crackers - 1P Tesco!
In the foreign food section, they have ground black pepper (10g) for 1p. Also they have some matzos for a penny a box too, Matzos are much like Jacobs crackers, only larger. The pepper was sold out when I went in, but I got the last box of Matzos for a penny! They still have pasta twists (500g) for 59p, or 3 for £1 on…

Farm Foods Meat - how nice is it?
Morning everyone. Having got more organised and reduced my grocery spend by quite a bit, I was just wondering about Farmfoods. Was looking at their website this morning and their 3 for £10 meat seems a real bargain. I was just wondering how you find it. If money was no object I would buy fresh from the butcher every time…
