Food shopping & groceries

I bought some spices from Asda last weekend but ended up getting the wrong one (d'oh!). Meant to buy turmeric, but bought coriander for some bizarre reason. I already have an unopened bag of coriander at home. I can't see any exclusions from the Asda returns policy. Can anyone confirm it applies to food? It was only £1,…

I came across these multi-buy discounts at Graig Farm: https://www.graigfarm.co.uk/organic-produce-c1/organic-multi-buy-discounts-c49 :j

This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... Since I bought my house I've been increasingly receiving the previous owner's post. Despite my best efforts to track her down, returning mail and contacting the senders, six years later I'm still getting mountains of it. Recently, Tesco Clubcard vouchers have started coming…

Does anyone actually take any notice of this promise? Tesco' checkout staff always proudly circle on the bottom the till receipt, how much cheaper they were on that particular shop, ( or how much the have taken off your bill if they were more expensive). Obviously this match is only on 'branded goods' which is fair enough,…

I wonder if someone could do me a big favour. I've searched online but not found what I need. Which is, what are the ingredients in Lidl's Ginger Nut biscuits? I don't have time to go to Lidl and I need the info pronto. I wonder if anyone could oblige? A very recently bought packet would be ideal (as I think the recipie…

Hi everyone, has anybody else noticed that prices for food and household goods at Sainsbury's have gone up by at least by 10 to 15p on most things. Looks like Sainsbury's are getting their customers to foot the bill for their Argos group takeover. Even special offer prices have gone up. An example is Pepsi. Used to be on…

I used to buy Tesco's own Revitalising Sea Minerals shower gel for my husband. It was 90p for 500ml but they seem to have stopped selling it. Does anyone know of any good cheap shower gel from anywhere else? Thanks

I'm looking to get some ground coffee to go with a new coffee making machine. Can anyone recommend a decent (good value) ground coffee from Aldi or Lidl (or anywhere else tbh) Its to go with this machine btw -

The only times I have bought it on discount is when I had a voucher printed at the checkouts from Sainsburys. I have also seen it on pick your offer at Waitrose.

Of interest to food shoppers as well as credit card seekers?

Part of the Waitrose offer is buy 3 butterflied lamb pieces which usually cost £5.79 each but buy 3 for £10 so that's a very good saving. My local store weren't displaying the offer so I asked a member of staff to check the price as no red stickers or labels displayed. To cut a long story short the staff weren't aware but…

Hello I just wondered if anyone who uses it regularly can tell me if the website design has changed recently. I haven't ordered any food for over a month and when I logged in it all looks different. The reason I ask is that I somehow logged into a fake Barclays account a few years ago and they tried to take my money out.…
