Asda returns - applies to food?

I bought some spices from Asda last weekend but ended up getting the wrong one (d'oh!). Meant to buy turmeric, but bought coriander for some bizarre reason. I already have an unopened bag of coriander at home.
I can't see any exclusions from the Asda returns policy. Can anyone confirm it applies to food? It was only £1, but the unopened bag will already last me more than a year.

I have returned a food item back to ASDA because I picked up the wrong flavour, and got a refund.
I had the receipt and the item was still sealed.0 -
If its still sealed then I would expect they will refund. But the staff at my local Asda are rude and unhelpful most of the time so they will probably roll their eyes and make out they are doing you a favour.0
