ASDA Fish Pie Use By Date conundrum
We sometimes buy Asda chilled fish pies, these: https://groceries.asda.com/product/british/asda-fish-pie/1000187931421 which says 'Typically fresh for 4 days'. We've probably had quite a few over the years without any problems. However, on Mar 14 we had one delivered which had a 'Use By' date of Apr 10, which struck me as…

Sainsbury's Weekly Nectar Offers - Missing points from 14th March
I do a weekly Sainsburys shop where I take advantage of the weekly Nectar bonus points on specific grocery items. I rarely have any problems and the points are nearly always added within minutes. However, from my shop at 2.10pm on 14th March, no bonus points have been awarded as yet. Has this apparent glitch affected…

What are You Buying a Little Extra of [because of rising prices]?
With rising food and goods prices, has anyone started buying a little extra when they go shopping? We bought 10 packs of cotton buds but that was more because we didn't see any for ages - they must have had hundreds of packs on the shelf so didn't feel much guilt. We accidently bought about 10 packs of dishwasher tablets…

Asda Not Delivering what was Ordered

This week we have repeatedly updated our order and each time we go back in and look it has changed what we asked for so we change it again. Our delivery this morning has again changed from what was…

What do you call the supermarket's yellow-sticker section?
That place in the supermarket where all the about-to-expire, discounted food goes - what do you tend to call it? I refer to it as the 'yellow-sticker section'. I've seen other Forumites call it the 'whoopsie aisle', 'compost corner' or just 'the reduced bit'. Where do you stand?

Sainsbury's Double Up Alert Error in Nectar App
Did anyone else have a double up alert notice in their Nectar app today? Or recently? Worth keeping an eye on! I had it as a big green square, but when I clicked through I got error messages, and then eventually the alert vanished. But it certainly suggests that one is coming up - possibly for the week before Easter maybe?…

Oddbox
Hi Does anyone get veg boxes from oddbox ? I like the idea of buying fruit & veg that wouldn't make it to the supermarket for whatever reason but sometimes these things are expensive gimics. Cheers Jen

Smartshop App - Bag check ‘Errors’ - genuine errors or some kind of tactic?
I’ve been getting stuck into nectar this year and have been using the smartshop app to try to maximise savings on supplies for packed lunches for work. When it offers me ‘nectar prices’ on items I would usually buy that are non perishable, I tend to buy in bulk to make the most of the offer - I have hundreds of coffee…

Co-op technical glitch causes online price error - what it means for shoppers
Co-op shoppers buying online should be aware of a technical glitch that means the wrong price is being displayed on certain items. The error means that final price you would expect to pay could either be higher or lower than you budgeted for, so be careful to check the total cost when you've finished shopping... Read the…

Brought Saltanas from coop think there contaminated advice needed?
I apologize in advance if I'm posting this in wrong place. I brought a bag of saltanas from coop yesterday, on opening last night to give my son some there was a very very strong chemical smell, not like saltanas should smell like. I thought it might be because they had been sealed in bag and needed to air, I waited a bit…

Dairy spreads
After watching a programme about margarine not rotting because of the plastic content I usually buy butter. But it’s difficult to spead thin even when it’s not hard. I’m trying to cut calories, so I’d like to spead it thinner. Are any of the spreadable butters just butter with added oil to make them spread? That I can…
