Probably because of the current climate. I used to get good Tesco vouchers which I no longer do, my Waitrose vouchers are smaller and irrelevant now.

I'm still getting mainly 50p off with a couple of 25p off for lower priced items.
  • Thank you for replies, its strange I spend a reasonable amount there and my offers have been lower the last couple of weeks, my mother spends much less and hers have been the same as usual once again no reward for loyalty.

Our discounts are percentages of purchase price, not cash sums, and only some items, mainly fresh salad at the moment, so can only assume offers differ with geography

Vouchers aren't a reward for loyalty (despite how the supermarkets like to market them), they are an incentive to get people who wouldn't otherwise have gone in this week to shop there.

We buy very little at the coop - usually only coffee when we have a money off voucher for it (few places sell columbian fair-trade instant), and the occasional thing we have run out of (maybe once every couple of months) .  Our vouchers have gone down from 50p off to 15p off - so it isn't just people who are loyal who have had their vouchers drop in value

  • I really think co op is such a rip off, £4 for a meal deal i daylight robbery if you ask me
