New 'LIDL PLUS' app

I've just has the weekly email from MSE and it mentions a new app, I've done a search but can't spot it on any of the shopping threads. I've got a query for anyone who's downloaded it please.


Prior to downloading the app, it says there are several 'virtual vouchers' including a £5 off your next purchase of £25 or more, and also 25& off alfredo pizzas, but when I try and click on them to add to my 'personal vouchers' it says neither are available, has anyone else found the same issue?

Hey all, I get this same problem too.

I registered and verified my phone and email but no £5 discount voucher

Did they cap it to a certain number of people maybe?

I have wondered that, but it doesnt say anything about the vouchers being limited. Just says sign up to add them to your account. I've just had another try, and it is saying all of the vouchers are no longer available, as if it's past a date ta validity date (but the dates on the website clearly say the offers are still on?)

Hi I've just downloaded the new Lidl App, and again no sign of the £5 off £25 voucher. The other discount vouchers all say not available when trying to add them. As they say they issue new vouchers every Thursday the current ones shouldnt run out until 12/8/20?? It clearly says anyone downloadig the new app will get £5 off their first £25 shop!

Just downloaded , £5 off voucher was there and activated ok . Seeing as launch date is technically 3rd September I wonder if it's store dependent and not all stores have been updated yet

Tried it too but no sign of the £5 coupon and won't let me activate the other coupons.

Wonder whats going on with it. seems like I'm not the only one having issues. I know the 'other' vouchers do change week to week, but the £5 off £25 is for the first shop after signing up to the app. I know some people who have already been able to download and spend there £5, so it can't be that they are waiting for the launch date. very odd, but disapointed, it was much easier to pick up a £5 off £25 from their papers instore

I downloaded and verified app yesterday, it did include £5 off which had to be used in 14 days. Used it same day after activating it (bloke on till had to show me you had to click on it to get code he could scan) and when I got the receipt I looked for £5 off at bottom, nothing there. However every single item had a few pennies off which seemed to add up to £5 but I spent £52 so this was a rough guess. Odd way of doing it.

I downloaded and verified the app Tuesday and the money off vouchers were there (not the £5 off that has never shown) but would not activate, just said 'No longer available' when I tried to activate although still current then. The offers have changed today and the same thing is happening and there is still no £5 off £25 spend either. When I shopped yesterday I scanned the app card at the till in the hope it might give a discount then but nothing although afterwards it did thank me for scanning the app in Lidl - so the Q code on the card is obviously working just no discounts! Not really a good start for Lidl, I know it says still testing but if it goes live at the start of September they need to get it sorted quick!

Just to add my experience to the pile - I downloaded and registered Tuesday evening and similarly do not see the £5 off voucher in app. I've just tried activating the discount coupons and received the message "We couldn't deactivate this coupon" (though they do not appear to be activated - the app tells me I have "0 activated coupons"). Disappointing as I was planning to do my typical Aldi weekly shop at Lidl this week!

Same as with me. I went through the standard help processes and sent them a message but I'll not hold out much hope.
