New 'LIDL PLUS' app

I've heard that Lidl have started to reinstate the 'lost' £10 coupons from the glitch last weekend. So it does look like they are being proactive and working on it. They are obviously aware of the problem. Fingers crossed anyone who lost their coupon will eventually get it back. Keep checking your app, it might appear. Probably a good idea to still try and contact them if you can though, just in case they miss you on the system and don't do it automatically,0

Love Lidl and their new app but I find it annoying that when you earn a £10 voucher you only have 7 days to use it. I do a big shop at Lidl every 7-10 days then a small top-up in between at Aldi so sometimes I have to make a special trip to use the voucher before it runs out.1

I am in the same position, I did a £50 shop to end the month and get the £10 coupon but I now only have a week to use it
I have nothing to buy, I bought all the non perishables to hit the target and I will be lucky if I spend a tenner spread over the whole week on fresh stuff.0 -
Just to remind folk that the APP promo is due to stop by the end of Feb so only 2 months to get any more savings from it.0

For those like me who have an ancient phone that won't accept the 'APP' ... YES the Lidl app does run on a tablet (in my case an Amazon Fire HD) without mobile SIMM live phone link ... the only thing to note is that you have to 'acivate' any voucher beore leaving your home WiFi. The Lidl tills 'scanner' works fine at reading the (large) tablet display 3d barcode, altghough some are placed the other side of the 'Covid barrier' with a relativly small hole & you have to wave the tablet around a bit. When you get home & back within your wifi range, the app updates your purchases automatically just fine ...

I have a difficulty with the £2/£10 coupon plus reward which has been renewed and will run to end of May. I shop once a week usually on a Friday and manage to get up to a £200 total spend with 4 shops in a month. Interpretation of CPR T&C`s seem to have changed around the 7 days you have from the date of receipt to use it. My £2 CPR today (Thursday) shows "expires today" whereas last month it showed "expires in 1 day" which means you cannot redeem a CPR if you do a weekly shop . To avoid having to travel to Lidl twice a week in order to redeem a £2/£10 CPR, I had success by loading my shop in the car and by that time the £2/£10 CPR had registered and I was able to go back in and do a small second shop. However this doesn`t always work. Looks like I will have to change my shopping days to Saturday one week then Friday the next.0
