Tried to sign up yesterday and it said something like "limit reached, please try again later. Today it worked and the voucher was there.

Does anybody know how the other vouchers work? Can I by more than one of the same product and get the discount on all of them or only one?

Thanks for replies. I thought I would have a go at uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but sadly didn't make any difference, apart from the offers which changed today. The £5 off £25 is still showing as a voucher I can choose, but still saying 'oops this coupon is no longer available'
Has anyone had a response from Lidl on the issue? It's reassuring with other posts that it's not just me, but not great as it means lots of £5 vouchers being missed out on!

Hi all, I also downloaded the app but I'm totally new to this sort of thing as not had a mobile long and don't normally use it. Not tried to activate vouchers yet but my question was going to be, am I supposed to print the vouchers off or do you hand the phone to the checkout operator? That's if the vouchers activate, after reading previous posts.

You have a card with a barcode within the phone app. Against that it tells you what vouchers are activated therefore available. As I understand it you just present your card (on the phone) to the teller.

I think it is a bit unfair that you can only benefit from this if you have a smartphone, which I don't.

Have Lidl stopped putting offer coupons in newspapers?  They used to put the £5 off ones in quite often.

Went to Lidl this morning, tried to activate £5 coupon and it said couldn't be activated. Now I'm home, there was a message on my phone to try again, so I did and it's now been activated. So to those people who couldn't get it, keep trying and good luck.

To answer my own question, you can use a voucher only once, but for multiple items.

The charming young man serving me in Lidl sorted it out on my phone for me. He said staff are still learning how it works as well. It does need to be the Lidl plus app not just the normal one.

Hello folks. I wrote the Lidl deal and have been speaking to my Lidl contact about instances of some people not getting the coupon. I'm told that everyone should get the coupon, but that the app is in a trial version (launching officially on 3rd Sept) so there are a few issues to iron out.

Some other things to check too:
1. Some people are being told to wait 48 hours for their coupon to appear/work.
2. Make sure you've verified your account by using the texted code or the link that you're emailed. The coupon can't be activated until you do that.

If those things don't apply, it's best to check the app again on 3rd September, when all issues are expected to be fixed.
