I had been on long term sickness from my job since January and I retired in May. I had 70 hrs of holiday entitlement from the previous year's annual leave entitlement, but on retirement I was only paid for April and May's accrued holidays. Sorry if this is a daft question but you do get 28 weeks PAID ssp don't you? I'm currently off with a back problem, I've kept work updated with regular phone calls and e-mails. Ive only received 24 weeks, they're saying I've had 28 (I haven't but they are renowned for being poor). So it IS 28 paid?
