Phonak Nathos Auto Micro etc which has just been released on the NHS (June 2018) 2 Siemans…

Disability transport

Blue Badge assessment - was this a reasonable assessment?
hello, FIL has just been turned down for a blue badge, and it set me thinking. FIL has dementia and various problems with his heart and circulation. His mobility is seriously limited: he walks very slowly, is quite unsteady on his feet, and has regular 'attacks' where his legs become 'wobbly' and he either falls or needs…

Charge for wheelchair repairs under 2yrs old.
Any advice please... My daughter's electric wheelchair has been serviced which I'm happy to pay for but the wheels, that have motors on them, had to be sent away to be repared. Refused DLA
We've been refused DLA for our 14 year old daughter, the reason they have given is that we do not give care throughout the day. They fully acknowledge that she requires personal care for over an hour a day by encouragement , prompting and some physical help.

Has PIP transfer paused?
I'm just wondering, as three years later I still haven't had the dreaded letter from DLA to apply for PIP. I understand there are 1.6 million reviews, has the transfer paused until these reviews are done? I've probably jinxed myself now! But I obviously can't ring up as I don't want them to catch me! I live in West London.

Questions about PIP
I have been helping my son's partner to fill in her PIP form and by my reckoning she should score four points each on 7C and 9c. She does need help in these areas..... .....however not always. Sometimes she is worse than others. She has put down that she needs the support 50% of the time for 7c and 40% of the time for 9c.…
