Etsy shop - come physical location
Hi all, hope you’re well. Recently launched an Etsy shop selling a range of greetings cards. It’s started to take off a little and I’m almost at 300 sales. A few questions here really: 1) I’m not currently registered as a business - should I be now? 2) I want to go into my local shopping centre and operate on a physical…

Legalities of charging for a craft group
I've been going to a craft group for about a year now, the group has been running about 18 months. They organisers charge £1 a week. It's supposedly to buy things for the group, not that the group would actually need anything. Everyone has their own equipment. There's no club accounts, no bank account. As far as I can see…

Selling finished projects…
Like most people in the world at the moment, I’m looking to see if there are ways I can make a bit of pocket money on the side - I wondered if it was legal to sell completed pages from colouring books or if this is an infringement on copyright laws? I know I can’t copy or reproduce them - but who owns the rights to the…

Sirdar Heritage Patterns
For a bit, okay, a lot of nostalgia, you can spend time trawling through Sirdar's contribution to the Platinum Jubilee as very many of their patterns from the last 90 years are now available to buy. Sadly not at their original 'd' prices!! I am still knitting mittens from one of them (60s) and I am sure I have more…

Hi, I have a lot of my own designs which I would like to use for decoupaging furniture. Is this legal?
At the moment Create and Craft are showing many items that are "extended delivery", meaning they do not actually have the item in stock yet. They do take your money though. Is this activity legal? It seems at best a very grey area.
