Summer holiday ideas for kids
A couple of years ago We bought plastic goldfish bowls from Poundland for our grandchildren. We added a string handle to carry them. We spent the day at the beach collecting seaweed, shells and crabs etc to make “day aquariums”. The children loved scavenging around the beach looking at what they had gathered and then…

Please can anyone help? I want to make a uniform wash bag, so my daughter can store a dirty uniform without contaminating her bag. Needs to be washable at 60 degrees. Just need some advice on fabric. I don’t want it to crease and add to ironing. It will be washed regularly, so nothing too flimsy either. Hoping to order the…

Cake tins
I'm looking for a non stick cake tin, not an anodised aluminium one, more old school non stick, that will fit inside my slow cooker. It needs to be no bigger than 6 inches in diameter, but at least 4 inches deep, deeper would be fine too. Maybe this doesn't exist, I've certainly not found anything yet, but if anyone knows…

Joanns fabric, craft and notions US store now ship to the UK
Was delighted to see that Joanns and their great prices are now shipping to the UK. Sadly the excellent prices available in the UK don't seem to be replicated in the exchange rate (increase in prices?) for those in the UK, with a standard posting fee of £12.99 not sure they are going to get many takers!
