Please could anyone recommend where to buy good quality craft paper. I need plain sheets or rolls. Ie: black, white, cream, green, red, baby blue and pink maybe also copper. I have looked on Etsy ( the Kraft ones ) but I have no idea on the quality and this would be my first time crafting with it. So any recommendations would be sooooo helpful. Huge thanks to all that answer. I will be back in a day or so for any updates. x x x

I always find Hobbycraft good for things like crafting paper for penpal letters and crafting as well as card stock for my cricut etc. They have a lovely variety and different widths of paper/card etc

I used to buy most of my card from the Paper Mill when they had several shops in outlet centres. Now the shops have all closed but I see they do mail order- looks like even the Kendal shop has gone.........

The quality of the card / paper was good but I don't know about prices- now- especially as I assume there are post & packing charges.

just cut & pasted this from their web pages:
'If you’re not sure which of our paper and card products to pick, we also have our sample range, which allow you to select 10 samples from our great range for just £1 and no additional shipping cost.'

What does good quality mean to you and what craft do you want to do with it?  Origami wants different characteristics than lino printing, of course.  There are still shops where you can buy by the sheet and see exactly what you want - art shops, book binding shops - eg Shepherds in London.

  • The Paper Source offers a variety of craft papers in different colors, textures, and sizes. You can find plain sheets, rolls, and packs of various colors and styles. They also carry specialty papers like vellum, glossy, and metallic. Their selection is quite vast, so you should be able to find what you're looking for. If you're looking for something specific, you can always contact them to ask if they have it. Another great option is Blick Art Materials. They offer a wide selection of craft papers in different colors and sizes. You can also find specialty papers such as metallic, pearlized, and more. They also offer a variety of textures, including glossy and matte. Finally, you can also check out your local art supply store or craft store. They usually have a great selection of craft paper, and you can often ask them for advice on what type of paper would be best for your project.
