    Hi Betharooni,
Lovely to see you here, all welcome. Love the diverse mix of crafts on your list and I look forward to seeing the photos!
I am hoping to start PL Italy today - well, I technically started it a couple of weeks ago (managed 10 stitches) but will get it out and have another go today as not much planned.
    Have a good day all,

Happy New Year to you all, may it be crafty :)

I don't think i made a list this year, but i'm happy with what i managed to complete, i finished The Junction and all UFO crochet projects. No list for 2022, my goal is to use up as much stash as possible, making thinks to gift, sell use, or donate.

Currently stitching the little seagull gift from my friend, almost finished just BS to do, then i need to make it into a little hanging cushion.

  • Happy New Year All 🥳

Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year.

My apologies for being MIA but I am sure that you have all surmised we had C19 in the house including myself. We didn’t get up country to see the family and I actually spent Christmas in bed. I got out for a couple of hours yesterday but it knocked me out so I’ve been back in bed today. My two youngest seem to have bounced back, they weren’t too ill at all. My eldest (20) is still quite ill and my husband still finds himself getting exhausted if he does too much.

This year I’m going to start working on disappearing my stash. I inherited two lots of relatives stashes and I need to try and use it up before buying any more. I’m going to set myself a budget of £200 for notions and such like. My DH is encouraging me to sell my things but I wouldn’t know where to start with charging for things and how would I do tax etc. especially as it’s with stuff I already own so I don’t know how to cost it out.

But first I need to finish all the Christmas presents.

Hello, I could do with joining you to keep myself accountable.

I have 2 large bags of T shirts that my DD1 wants me to make into a memory quilt for her, I did one for her younger sister a few years ago, sadly this time it's a double size that has been requested.

I am also crocheting solid granny squares out of wool I had bought years ago, greys and blues so will hopefully turn them into a blanket too this year.  I'm fairly new to crochet so not yet sure how to join them together.

    Hi everyone,
Happy New Year to you all.
So sorry to hear the FFF household had Covid and it scuppered your Christmas plans. Hope you are all on the mend now x
Welcome Mademoiselle - the memory quilt sounds a lot of work, but how amazing. We look forward to seeing your progress.
We had NYE at a friends house (just 8 of us) and I drove which meant we got home safe and sound. Have had an interesting few days with extended family issues (won't bore you with it all lol) and went for a lovely walk this morning with my neighbour. Back at work tomorrow but needs must.
I will attempt a deadline of end of April for PL Italy as we are once again going to the cinema a fair bit and have several family and friend celebrations this first quarter. Now I've typed it I can't go back lol!
    Have a good evening all,
    Coxy xx

    Welcome to the new members.
FFF sorry your family had Covid, i hope you're all feeling better soon.
Charly, you completed loads last year, you forgot to strike through 13&14, if you were serious about making my CS into a cushion, i'll happily pay for fabric, postage and time spent, etc.
Mademoiselle, memory quilt sounds great, to join the granny squares just lay them out then go straight from one side to the other joining them in big lines, either with a darning needle or hook using slip stitch.

Really pleased that most of you are wanting to use up stash, i have purchased more wool (i know i know, lol) I needed cotton 4 ply for a summer top that a lady from K&N group gave me, but i got it cheep off ebay :) I've also completed my first project of the year, a gift from my friend.
