Marriage allowance
after the new pension rise in April, I will be eligible for tax myself. Will this mean I can no longer give my wife my £1200 allowance or do I take it back which would mean I no longer have to pay tax or should I leave it with my wife or am I not allowed either way?

There is no set amount of money you can be given. It depends on your situation, circumstances and needs. Could someone apply for £1000 for special clothes to get back into self employment?

Missed something off original asset declaration for UC
I asked a few weeks ago about my husband owning half of his mom’s house. I found the regs which say because she is a pensioner and he doesn’t get any money from it it is disregarded for UC. We transitioned from tax credits 6 months ago and just realised my husband didn’t declare it. How do I go about putting this right? Do…

question about arrears and the £6000 limit adjusting based on arrears
I know there's a limit of £6000 cash one can own, at which point benefits get reduced somewhat. If I had £4,125 in my bank account and I get arrears of £3000 (that are disregarded in terms of effect on benefits). So then I have £7,125 in the bank account. Then that would mean that the equivalent to the £6000 limit, is now…
