3 tier cake question
i was told that if i was going to use pillars to stack 3 tiers of my cake (M&S) the bottom 2 tiers would need to be fruit or it wouldn't hold the weight. Anyone know if this is true as no one in my family likes fruitcake?

Do you think this will be ok?
Hi I got engaged on New Years Eve, yay! :D We're hoping to get married in September so i'm trying to get started with all the planning. I want to try and get married for under £2500. I've already seen the dress I want from Landy Bridal, it's actually a bridesmaid dress rather than a "proper" wedding dress so it's only…

Where can we marry?
We have decided we want to get married in April 2011, so now need to start planning venue etc. I would like to get married in West Sussex, but we live in Surrey. It will be a civil ceremony (more than likely Registry Office) as I've been married before, but can we get married wherever we like or do we have to stay in our…

Do you like this idea?
I am thinking of getting one of my bridesmaids a compact mirror as her thank you pressie. I wanted one that she could keep rather than an everyday one. I originally saw me getting a silver vintage one but I have found this... http://www.johnlewis.com/230491437/Product.aspx?source=14798 What do you think? It is more than my…

I have a question about my dress train (maybe Linda can help?) I got my dress ages ago from a factory outlet place at 66% off. It's a separate corset top and tulle skirt. The train... I'm not sure what the terminology is, but it's about twice as long at the back as the front, if that makes sense. However, I don't want it…
