Order of Services??

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to this 'thrifty' lifestyle, but with a wedding in sight think I need to wise up fast!

Just wondering peoples opinions on stationery?
I'm gonna get some personalised invites from ebay, and hopefully some matching thank you cards, but do I really need order of services?

I've been to my fair share of weddings, and I've never kept one, which makes me think they've just ended up in the bin. What a waste!

The vicar tells people when a hymn starts, and the hymn number's up on the wall isn't it?
LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021
got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩

  • you dont have to have one its just some people like to do them

I will be doing them for ours because from my experience its nice to have it all there in front of you
a lot of people wont look for the words to hymns so they will just stand there pretend singing which is pants lol

i guess it depends on what the people are like that will be at your wedding :)

I think its totally personal, but if it isa long church service then i think it is quite nice for people to know what will be happening. However i think it could be done really cheaply on white paper and rolled and tied with a bit of ribbon, doesnt hve to match other sationary so why pay a fortune.

We mnaged to get some in the marks and spencer sale, but we are using them as a kind of order of the day sort of thing as we arent hving churh wedding, so it will give approximate timings so people know when to expect food etc, and where to go - directions to reception etc. I thouht that would e really useful especially for people with kids. My thinking was, if they ae useful ad will make the day run smoothly/keep people relaxed then its worth doing, and if it has been useful then i dont mind that it will be chucked in bin after!
