Facebook Blocked
As Title: FB has blocked me after I tried to login from my tablet, which I have done so many times without problems. Tried to follow the "single click" login they sent, no go. Then they accused me of trying to access from a device not used before: I have been logging into FB for every one of the 3 years I have owned the…

YouTube video to facebook
If I post a video from YouTube to Facebook it appears as a thumbnail; not very pretty and it certainly wouldn’t encourage anyone to click. Is there a way to show the full image and make it clickable The reason I’m asking is because my friend wants to send a singing video to her nephew. I have tried the Facebook De ugging…

I have a Church Hall - a former Church with thick solid walls, high ceilings, two floors. My router is on the ground floor at one end and consequently reception in the more remote ends is iffy at the best. Hardwiring is not a practical option. Can I use a series of Wifi extenders to get to the remote parts? If yes - any…

Recording and pausing Freesat
So, I'm cancelling Sky so the Sky+HD box will become a Freesat box. I would still like to record and more importantly pause live TV. I've seen digital TV recorders which record Freeview. The 'right' gaming monitor
May well be old school CRT! I love this article, not least as it confirms my feeling that the old tech had benefits the new stuff doesn't consider worthy of a mention. I work from home occasionally - and have to shovel all my kit away in a cupboard so visitors can use the space as a bedroom. Back when I had CRT monitors I…

Amazon Fire HD Kids editions
I'm thinking of getting a tablet for my 6 year old niece and was wondering whether the Amazon Fire HD Kids editions were worth it over a standard android tablet, and in particular whether it's worth spending the premium over the standard Amazon Fire HD tablets. Bear in mind that I might actually wait a couple of months…
