Apple Ipod query
I have an apple I pod. My daughter gave me it. There is some music on it but I have lots of CD's which I would like to put on it. I have been told that the only way to transfer music to the I pod is to buy it from Apple. Is that the case?

HP Envy 5644 paper size
Hope someone can help. My printer seems stuck on 4”x6” when copying or printing from the iPad. I’ve been through all the settings and options on the touch screen with no luck. The only options for paper sizes are plain paper 4x6 or photo paper. Ironically, it will print from the MacBook.

NAS drive not being seen by network
Just bought a buffalo Linkstation LS210D. My peer to peer network can't see it when it is plugged into the network upstairs (distributed from the router through a network switch) but it can be seen if I plug it into the router direct. It assigns it a higher ip address when plugged into the router (in the 200 range). In the…

This must surely be a scam
I received an offer to buy my webdomain and data for £700. Email in the form name.name4458@yahoo.com I am pretty sure that a genuine offer would not come from such an address. This has got to be a scam, but what is their malicious intent? How does it work?

Local expert saved me £100
I’m so lucky, got an iPad for Xmas. Husband had been saving for a few months, to buy new, even though I’d have been happy with second hand. I carefully kept my new treasure away from the festivities, and was just looking into insurance, when our sweet old dog caught his foot in the ear phone cable, and it snapped off,…

Dual SIM mobile phone - adapting to also take SD card?
Hi I have a mobile phone with Dual SIM card slot. It can take one micro and one nano SIM. I've watched some You Tube videos which say you can "adapt" your SIM card, effectively heating up the plastic covering to leave just the gold SIM part. Then sticking that gold SIM part to the back of an SD card. The idea is that you…

I ran Avast's performance cleanup, and it identified 400 'broken registry items' and tried to sell me the upgraded version of Avast to fix these. I ran both Ccleaner and Slim Cleaner (both free), which identified and fixed numerous registry issues, then re-ran Avast. Which still found 361 'broken registry items'. Is Avast…
