Hello All,
I've been with Lycos mail for many years, I have started getting tons and tons of crape/junk mail, Lycos blocker is useless too.
If I go to another provider how would I take all of my info and contacts that I have and use, like TV licence, car insurance etc.?

Ask the question of the intended email provider - they would know (assuming they didn't think Lycos had died ten or fifteen years ago, like I did!)...0

If you create a Gmail account and set it to bring through messages from your Lycos account (guide here), then when you access your email through Gmail, you will benefit from Gmail's spam filtering.
You can continue using your Lycos address for as long as you want to (and for as long as Lycos continue to make it available, of course). This doesn't help with transferring contacts, unfortunately, but as emails arrive you can easily add them as contacts in Gmail (Google contacts).0 -
Will a webmail Lycos account have POP settings though to allow Gmail to connect to the server?0

Yes. In theory.
See the link in Lammy82's post.
That being said, I also thought Lycos died years ago so it was a surprise to hear the mail is still working, though who runs it is anybody's guess.0
