Battery charger

Just been looking at this charger

Can anyone comment on it please?

It's well known that fast charging can shorten the life of rechargeable batteries, because it can make them too hot when the ambient temperature is high.

So I prefer a charger where you can choose a lower charging current for situations where you don't need to charge quickly. Here's an example:

However, if you have lots of batteries that need charging all the time, an 8-battery charger may be a better choice, even if the batteries will probably not live as long!

At 320mA its not a fast charger despite the word "fast" in its title.

Agreed. In fact that charger is so slow it might be might be as bad as cooking the batteries in a charger that's too fast (NiMH batteries don't like being charged too slowly).


OP - look for a charger that can charge a 1 amp.
