That is, after recent instructions to use another browser because of security defect. I've got Windows 7 and not XP.

Avast! windows security alert.
I downloaded Avast! free yesterday. Today when I turned on my computer it did the scan but I had a windows security alert saying Avast! antivirus reports it is turned off. I have tried to turn it on but nothing happens. Any ideas? The malware and spyware is turned on.

Sound Problems
Just recently, any sound played back through my pc, jitters every now and then. When it happens all the time, it's not always at the same spot on audio tracks. It has also happened on Youtube videos. My sound device is a Xonar DGX sound card, which is fairly new, and does sound great, most of the time. Anyone any ideas?
